The Wood Supply Systems Group is a working group comprised of Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students within the Department of Forestry at Mississippi State University. Our mission is to conduct quality research in timber harvesting, focusing on the overall wood supply system. This effort includes analyzing all three primary stakeholders in the overall system: the landowner, the independent logging contractor, and the wood consuming mill.

This website is designed as a way to expedite the reporting of our research findings, serve the numerous participants in our study efforts, and facilitate communication and data transfer between the research team and participating entities.
